Palestinians Announce Facebook “Car Attack” Event, Call for Terrorists to “Run Down” & Kill Top Israeli Officals

The Palestinian propaganda machine continues to exploit the growing tensions in Jerusalem and the series of vehicle terror attacks that have shocked the city in recent weeks.

In the last example of direct incitement to violence against Jews and Israel, Palestinian activists created an “event” (Arabic link) on Facebook in which they call Arabs to launch more motor vehicle terror attacks against Jews. The “event” is scheduled to take place between November 9, 2014 and February 25, 2015, and reads:

“Run down a Zionist in a response to the occupation’s violations and as blessing to the recent car attacks that occurred in Jerusalem”

Palestinians also released a hit list for their vehicular terror attacks that includes Israeli parliament members Miri Regev, Moshe Feiglin, Uri Ariel, Tzipi Hotovely, Ze’ev Elkin and Danny Danon. “Those are the most prominent Zionist enemies of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Run over them!” the flier says.

The “Car Intifada” also comes in a musical form. A new song (Arabic link) released last week encourages Palestinians to run over “settlers” and “make the road become a trap.”

In Jerusalem, Arab rioters continued to hurl rocks and shoot fireworks at police and security forces over the weekend. At least three rock-throwing attacks against the Jerusalem light rail were reported. Two residents of the Arab neighborhood of Shuafat were arrested in connection with those attacks, The Times of Israel reported.

Following the Jerusalem clashes and the death of an Arab man in the Israeli-Arab town of Kafr Kana in the Galilee, Israeli police raised the nationwide terror alert level.

A security camera captured video showing Khair Alhamdan being shot by policeman on Friday night in the Galilee after he attacked a police van with what appeared to be a large knife, trying to get at the policemen inside. He later died of his wounds. The police had responded to a call to settle a dispute between families after a stun grenade had been allegedly thrown at a house. Alhamdan’s cousin, Sabri Hamdan Amara, was shot and killed by police in 2002 after he ran down a police officer with his car, seriously wounding the officer.

To encourage Palestinians to use their cars to carry out vehicle terror suicide attacks in Israel, official Palestinian social media accounts have been promoting the use of the Al Aqsa mosque — built on the site of the the First and Second Temples — to stoke fear that Jews are seeking to tear down the mosque to build a Third Temple in its place.
