Israeli media sources are making much of an announcement indicating that the country’s Iron Dome missile defense system will be featured in the upcoming Aero India show. The defense systems and aerospace exhibition is one of the world’s most important, and the Iron Dome short-range system will be featured alongside David’s Sling, an Israeli medium- and long-range interceptor system. Israel’s success in developing anti-missile technology – during a recent conflict with the Palestinian terror group Hamas, the Iron Dome system registered roughly an 85 percent success rate – has become a hallmark of the Jewish state’s defense industry.
