Watchdog groups are calling renewed attention to religiously driven anti-Jewish and anti-Israel Palestinian incitement. A video uploaded today to YouTube by Palestinian Media Watch shows a young girl reciting a poem in which she attacks “Allah’s enemies” and “the sons of pigs,” and in which she embraces “dying with… honor.” The characterizations are common tropes in anti-Semitic Islamist rhetoric. Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi was recently the subject of a diplomatic scandal when past video emerged of him referring to Zionists as “the descendants of apes and pigs.”

Quipped Atlantic National Correspondent Jeffrey Goldberg about the new PMW video: “How many times do I have to say this – Jews (and others, I believe) are descended from apes, but not pigs.”
