BREAKING: Video Shows Syria Rebels Attacking Hezbollah Convoy

Fighting between the Free Syrian Army and the Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah appears to have escalated. The organization, which has gone all-in on propping up Syrian ruler Bashar al-Assad, now finds itself entangled on behalf of Iran in the regional proxy war raging inside Syria.

A YouTube channel known to be used by Syrian opposition forces has posted a video showing what the description claims is an FSA attack on a Hezbollah convoy heading between Syria and Lebanon:

The same channel also posted a video of a news report on the attack. The anchor describes the attack as having taken place near the village of Yabous near the border between Lebanon and Syria, and claims that there were Syrian officers along with the Hezbollah forces. He names the opposition group as “Kataeb Daraa al Sham (Battalions of Daraa al Sham), belonging to Ansar al-Islam”:

Yabous:

The videos come as Syrian rebels continue to make slow but steady gains throughout Syria. A recent evaluation by the Washington Post indicated that an influx of weapons has tilted the conflict toward the opposition.
