An announcement on the official White House website of a pending joint appearance on Monday by President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu identified the location of their meeting as Jerusalem, Israel.
This is in contrast to the announcement the White House published ahead of former President Barack Obama’s appearance at the funeral of former Israeli President Shimon Peres last year, which identified the setting as just Jerusalem.
It seems the Trump administration has a different notion of where Jerusalem is located as compared with the previous administration. pic.twitter.com/v3WRvRvsjE

Even now, both the announcement of Obama’s planned travel and of the remarks themselves at the official archive refer simply to “Jerusalem,” with no identifying country, even though the funeral took place on Mount Herzl, which was part of Israel in 1948.
