The Israel Project Mourns the Passing of Shimon Peres

The Israel Project (TIP) today deeply mourns the passing of Shimon Peres. The last of Israel’s founding fathers, Peres contributed decisively to Israel’s security in its vulnerable early years, became its leading voice for peace later on, and ultimately served as a powerful force of unity as its ninth president. No one worked as tirelessly to ensure that the people of Israel enjoy a safe, secure, and peaceful future.
