Israeli Woman Killed, Man Injured in Three Separate Stabbing Attacks

An Israeli woman was stabbed to death and a man was injured during three separate terror attacks on Sunday, The Times of Israel reported.

The woman, 21-year-old Hadar Buchris of Safed, was stabbed in the afternoon while waiting for a bus at the Gush Etzion junction in the West Bank. Her attacker, a Palestinian man from a nearby village, was shot and killed at the scene by security forces.

Earlier in the day, an armed Palestinian woman attempted to stab an Israeli near the town of Nablus before being run over and shot. Less than an hour later, an Israeli man was lightly wounded when a Palestinian cab driver tried to ram into a group of people near Kfar Adumim in the West Bank, then left his vehicle and attempted to stab them. Police say that a civilian shot and killed the attacker before he could seriously injure anyone.

The Gush Etzion bloc where Buchris was killed has been the scene of a number of attacks during the latest surge of Palestinian terror. Most recently, a Palestinian gunman killed three people, including 18-year-old American student Ezra Schwartz, as they were traveling through the area.

According to Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency services, 19 people have been killed and 180 wounded in some 90 terror attacks since the beginning of October. 70 of those reported attacks were stabbings, which various experts have attributed to incitement spread by Palestinian political and religious leaders, as well as social media.
