Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Germany next week. Israeli ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer confirmed the meeting in an interview with CNN.

“That discussion will be, ‘OK, how do we get back to where we were in order to calm things down,'” Dermer said.

Netanyahu cancelled last week’s planned trip to Germany due to the escalating violence in Israel, but will now travel there on Wednesday to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
