Hours after a Palestinian killed one pedestrian and injured 14 more in Jerusalem, a second vehicle deliberately targeted three Israel soldiers in the West Bank area of Gush Etzion today.
The Times of Israel reports that three soldiers were injured, one seriously, in the attack:
A Palestinian vehicle hit the soldiers, who were standing by the side of Route 60 near the Palestinian refugee camp of al-Aroub, south of Jerusalem, a police spokesperson said.
In a graphic video posted online which appeared to show the incident, the three soldiers are clearly visible on the side of the road as traffic passed. The white van approached from the left-hand side and, without slowing, plowed into the soldiers and drove off.
The spokesperson said that the police were treating the incident as a possible terrorist attack.
Hamas took credit for this morning’s terror attack in Jerusalem. The terror attacks come amid increased Palestinian incitement from Hamas but and leaders of the Palestinian Authority.
