Tshediso Mangope

Tshediso Mangope was elected provincial member of the Congress of South African Students during his final year at university. He went on to lead the Young Communist League at the University of the Free State, and later headed the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) at Wits University for three years. He later led the ANCYL branch in his community, and was eventually elected Branch Secretary of the South African Communist Party for two consecutive years.
